Game play

The gameplay and content of the game is simple, players will assume the role of a strange man sitting in a water tank, he has strong muscles, wielding a sledgehammer. He can't walk properly, and the only way you can get him to move is with the hammer in his hand, which you'll use as a fulcrum, a hiking pick, or your only leg. Players have to rely on their own manipulation and perseverance to get such a strange person to climb a mountain of countless strange objects.

With Bennett Foddy

Bennett Foddy, the game's author and the only supporting character in the game, has a few words to say as you struggle to climb up the ladder. Sometimes it's about the making of the game, and sometimes it's something very philosophical. When the player accidentally falls and loses a lot of progress, he will be there to comfort and encourage the player (although in many cases it will have the opposite effect). But it has to be said that it is Bennett Foddy's presence that makes the game complete, and his narration adds some color to what is itself a very difficult journey.

Climb the highest mountain

If you are persistent enough and skillful enough, you will eventually reach the end of the journey, the highest place. In this strange journey, you will repeatedly fall, start again, fall cycle, but after various difficulties, you finally do it, climb the cell tower, completely out of gravity, float, meet the end of the journey.
