Game play
In the game, the player and Riley Poverly will explore Carmena together, through different conversations and interactions, to influence the outcome of the story. Every choice you make matters!
Movement and operation
The operation of the game is all about clicking, which can be a bit inconvenient, so we recommend using an automatic path system where you can click on the path or above the ledge, allowing Riley to move automatically. The automatic movement is visualized by small green arrows. This is especially useful in certain scenarios, where movement and timing are critical to success.
Attention time
With very little guidance throughout the game, sometimes you might worry that you're not on the path the game wants you to be on. One way to tell if you are on the right path is to pay attention to time changes, as it indicates that a new chapter is beginning. Other ways to judge a chapter change include your companions becoming more talkative when you enter a new area, and new chat options available to your portable walkie-talkie.
Check your map at any time
Worried you're lost or might have missed a secret path? Don't worry, you don't encounter this very often, so be sure to refer to your map often, as you will find that there are little yellow arrows marked on the map indicating the exit points in the area. Also, zoom in on your scene at any time and you can spot hard-to-see ledges, paths, and climbing anchor points, as this will give you a clear view of all navigable areas in each area.
